Tucked away in the back of Morgan Street Food Hall is a place serving what may be the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. We ordered and watched the cook remove our chicken from the marinade, bread it, and fry it right there. The result was insane! I can’t wait to go back. I went for “Hot,” but others in our group tried the hotter levels (I thought they were less moist). The mac and cheese and hush puppies made for delicious complements. To complete the southern, comfort food experience, I recommend the sweet tea. I came in for the fried chicken and waffle sandwich and got a side of collards. This is a good sandwich, full stop. A little gimmicky. I wish I had control of the sugar on the waffle, it’s too sweet for me. The collards want more savory in the pot liquor and if that’s not going to happen put some hot sauce on the counter. More

Amazing and freshly made food! Got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and Mac and Cheese. Really great Mac and cheese. Some places put too much cheese and is too soft, this had the right amount of cheese and noodles were cooked perfectly. Got the medium heat on the sandwich and was not too spicy and was so good! I got the BBQ Sundae. It was truly the best meal I have had from anywhere in a really long time! Mac n cheese was creamy, collard greens with vinegar so fresh and to die for, and the bbq melts in your mouth. The sauce was amazing. I want the same exact thing tomorrow! 😆 PERFECTION!!!! I think the food relied a bit too much on ranch and syrup, and not enough on salt. The chicken was juicy, but couldn't really hold its own ground. The mac and cheese is overpowered by the pickles and ranch. But everything did taste fresh and hot. This was the first place that I saw when I walked through the front door. I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with medium spice level. The flavor of the sandwich was good and it paired well with their Comeback sauce that was on it. The Loaded Tots were also pretty good. Quick and friendly service and a decent meal overall.
